Ted Johnson
Ted Johnson makes amazingly detailed charcoal drawings. His prints are often mistaken for photographs. But, unlike photographs, his drawings will make you feel the splintered wood of antiquated barns and smell waving wheatfields amid abandoned homesteads and hay wagons. They've all been put out to pasture giving way to the technology of today. They are the art of yesterday preserved by this master of charcoal, Ted Johnson. This artist lives near Seattle Washington, and sells his works at fairs. Charcoal is his medium of choice from which he creates these real life drawings. Feel free to browse through photos of his work online. Prints are available for purchasing by clicking on any photo.
